The Georgia LP, in an emergency fashion, issued an immediate anti-Keaton resolution resolution that passed overwhemingly. Here it is:
Resolved, the Libertarian Party of Georgia expresses its deep disappointment with the Libertarian National Committee in its continued activities regarding Angela Keaton and it neglect of its proper Party duties, and expresses a desire that the LNC get back on proper course for the LP by actually working for the growth of the Party and advancing public policy in a libertarian direction, instead of engaging in self-destructive, alienating, embarrassing, and pointless internal squabbles.
Hooray for the Georgia LP for attacking this monstrosity.
Given the alarming and embarrassing behaviors of the LNC, I would like to invite the Georgia LP to consider affiliating with the Boston Tea Party. You could also consider dropping your affiliation with the LP, as a related issue.
Absolutely not. We may not be happy with everything that goes on with the LP, but we’re not abandoning it.
That’s another option, clearly. Stick with it and change it from within.
Of course, that might not work. It didn’t work for me, after years of watching the LP national get more and more corrupt, so I left in 1998. It doesn’t work for everyone. But, you know, it’ll work great for you. Until you reach your own tipping point.
Meanwhile, organising a Boston Tea Party affiliate in Georgia doesn’t cost anything, and it might prove useful to have a fall-back position.
Dropping our affiliation is not an option and I would resign my membership in the LPGa if they decided to affiliate with the Boston Tea Party.
The Tennessee LP has joined in your quest for more rational behavior from the LNC.

Jason, you seem to have something against the Boston Tea Party. What are your concerns?
